The play of light and dark - high contrast - is seen in this family room with the black granite fireplace
with a white custom wood Federal style surround. 

Whimsy is injected with the use of handmade monkey sconces flanking the fireplace.
  This is continued in the use of animal pattern upholstery and accessories.
